Ultrasound Services

Dr. Danielle Shemanski, DVM, MA, an independent service provider, offers ultrasound services in WNY on a referral basis. She visits our practice twice a month to do abdominal ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and holter monitoring. Dr. Shemanki’s knowledge and expertise is a valuable asset to our practice.

Dr. Shemanski also works with Dr. Eva Oxford, a Board-Certified Cardiologist with a PHD in Pharmacology. Dr. Oxford’s comprehensive analysis, medication regimes, and anesthesia recommendations are unique and tailored to your pet’s individual needs in an unprecedented way.

Ultrasounds allow for real time, non-invasive imaging of internal organs and ability to diagnose a wide range of conditions, organ abnormalities, blockages, and monitoring disease progression. They are relatively affordable and repeatable without causing significant stress to the animal while still offering a detailed look at soft tissues, allowing for early detection and accurate diagnosis of various issues.
